Some Color Blocking

Ever since I first saw the first color blocking post on a blog, I've been dying to try this awesome trend myself but the opportunity hadn't come or I don't know if I had already worn it and hadn't realised it, I think no so this is my approach to color blocking, (took some time, I'll try to be faster with the pastel trend, which I really like too), some orange and blue combo that I felt pretty good about, plus with the slightly cold weather and rainy days Bogota tends to be a grey and neutrals kind of city, it felt good being so colorful even if I had some grey clouds behind, hope you like it and thank you so much for reading my blog :) your comments make my day! 

Desde que vi el primer post de color blocking (no se me ocurrio una buena traduccion :S), me he estado muriendo de ganas por usar un look de esta tendencia, pero la oportunidad no aparecia o si lo habia usado no me habia dado cuenta, aunque creo que no, asi que aqui esta mi primer look de color blocking  (me tomo un buen rato y espero no tardarme tanto en intentar con la tendencia de los colores pasteles que tambien me gusta mucho), un combo de naranja y azul que me gusto bastante la verdad, ademas con el frio y los dias lluviosos Bogota tiende a ser una ciudad de mucho gris y tonos neutrales asi que se sintio bastante bien estar asi de colorida aun con las nubes grises detras de mi, espero que les guste y muchas gracias por visitar mi blog :) sus comentarios me alegran el dia!

Nothing Fancy

Remember the sneak peek I posted on monday? well here it is,it took all week but I wanted to show Valentine's day first before it was too long time ago, but it's here something simple and comfortable for college, I don't usually wear skirts to class but they are one of my favorite pieces of clothes so from time to time I indulge, think I'll do it more often, I really love wearing them. Hope you had a great weekend.

Se acuerdan del preview que les mostre el lunes? bueno aqui esta todo el look, se tardo un poco pero es que queria mostrarles primero el de San Valentin antes de que pasara mucho tiempo, pero aqui esta, un look bastante simple y comodo, normalmente no uso faldas para ir a la universidad pero es una de mis piezas favoritas de ropa asi que de vez en cuando trato de ponermelas, me gustaria hacerlo mas seguido, en verdad me encanta usar faldas. Espero que hayan tenido un buen fin de semana.

This is what I wore on Valentine's Day, here in Colombia it isn't really a big deal, nor it is to me, I think we should celebrate love every chance we get and every day if we can, but it does make for some nice holiday inspired outfits, I had a big project due tuesday so I spend all night finishing it, that's why I don't have proper outfit pics, I was tired beyond my mind, but somehow without really trying I ended up with a heart and a colorful outfit, must be because the splash of color in this shirt always brights me up, even if I haven't slept more than an hour, like this Valentine's day's case.

 

Esto fue lo que me puse el dia de San Valentin, aqui en Colombia no es tan importante y la verdad para mi tampoco, creo que deberiamos celebrar con nuestros seres queridos cada vez que podamos y todos los dias si es posible, pero aun asi es muy divertido vestirse para un dia en el que el amor es el protagonista, ese dia tenia una entrega y pase toda la noche terminandola asi que no pude tomarme unas buenas fotos del look, no se imaginan lo cansada que estaba (y me veia) pero aun asi a pesar de todo termine con un look de corazon y mucho color ese dia, debe ser porque esa camisa, con sus spash de pintura siempre me ha alegrado el dia cuando la uso, incluso si no he dormido mas de una hora como me paso este dia de San Valentin.

One More

Here's the longer post I promised, this is from the second day in Medellin, so there was a lot of walking and sightseeing involved, I was wearing my Forever 21 new floral skirt for the first time, I really liked it and can't wait to wear again, next time with heels, besides ever since they came back will full force, floral prints are in my top list of favorites.

Aqui esta el post mas largo que les habia prometido, esto fue lo que use el segundo dia que estuve en Medellin, mucha caminata y turismo, estaba usando mi nueva falda de flores de Forever 21 por primera vez y me gusto mucho, no puedo esperar usarla de nuevo y esta vez ojala con tacones, ademas desde que comenzaron a verse, los estampados de flores han siempre sido uno de mis favoritos.

No Time

 

Okay so saying that schoolwork is taking most of my time really is an understatement, my vacations are really over and it's been all work and no play, thankfully today I found a little time to show you some pics from my trip to Medellin, this is what I wore for a night out with the girls, I still got tons of pics to show you and I'll try to appear more on the blog, it's been hard but I really miss posting :S hopefully I'll find a good way to organise my time with all my assignments from college. Hope you like the pics, it's little but I'll make a longer post soon. 

Bueno decir que la universidad me quita mucho tiempo, es decir muy poco, mis vacaciones definitivamente se terminaron y he tenido muchisimo estudio que hacer, por fin hoy encontre un poco the tiempo para mostrarles unas fotos de mi viaje a Medellin, esto fue lo que me puse para salir con mis amigas de noche, todavia tengo muchas fotos que mostrarles y voy a intentar aparecer en el blog mas seguido, ha sido un poco dificil pero extraño mucho hacer nuevos posts :S espero encontar una mejor forma de organizar mi tiempo con todos los trabajos que tengo de la universidad. Espero que le gusten las fotos, se que es poco pero pronto hare un post mas largo.
