18 is for FUN!

 wow! it's been such a long time, but school has been all time consuming, I have this week off before returning to classes and just in time for my 18th birthday last saturday, I had a blast and I'm still giddy about it, the thing with birthdays is that sometimes we expect too much and the day doesn't live up to it but oh not this year, this time it really was one of the best birthdays ever! and I'm really glad I can share it with you guys so this aren't really outfit pictures but more like my happy face during my day :)


Wow!, cuanto tiempo ha pasado, pero es que la universidad no me ha dejado tiempo libre, tengo esta semana para descansar antes de volver a clases, y llego justo a tiempo para mi cumpleaños el sabado pasado, cumpli  18 al fin! la pase increíble y todavía sonrio de solo acordarme, la cosa con los cumpleaños es que a veces esperamos mucho y finalmente el dia no es lo que pensabamos pero no este año, esta vez si que la pase bien y fue uno de los mejores! me alegra mucho poder compartirlo con ustedes, asi que estas no son realmente fotos de mi look, sino mas mi felicidad durante mi gran dia :)

Discovering Sex and The City

 Okay so I might be a little late, but I have finally seen sex and the city from the begining, I haven't finished but I'm seriously hooked, you might wonder why I'm discovering it up until now, and the thing is that when this awesome series actually aired I was much much too young to see it, somethimes sneaking up on my mom to see, but I have decided that I am old enough now to be properly introduced to the glamorous world of this amazing and hilarious four friends, besides I cannot believe how great Carrie's hair is the first season, being a curly hair myself I find it as an inspiration to see frizzy and curly hair rocking it in every posible way, if you don't believe me check it out for yourselves and find a sex and the city episode as soon as posible, it really is worth it to see these girls adventures (and outfits!)

Puede que este un poco atrasada, pero finalmente me vi sex and the city desde el principio, no la he terminado ver pero estoy obsesionada, se preguntaran por que hasta ahora estoy descubriendo esta serie, y lo que sucede es que cuando salio yo era demasiado demasiado pequeña para verla, incluso me escondía mientras mi mama la veía para alcanzar a saber de que se trataba, pero he decidido que ya soy lo suficientemente grande como para conocer a estas cuatro increíbles y chistosas amigas, ademas estoy impresionada por el pelo de Carrie en la primera temporada, siendo crespa yo también, encuentro muy inspirador que su pelo alborotado se vea increíble de todas las formas posibles, si no me creen busquen lo mas pronto posible un episodio de sex and the city y disfruten porque vale la pena ver las aventuras de estas mujeres (y la ropa que usan mientras tanto!)

Ombre Hair Obssesion

I'm absolutely ombre hair obssesed and I'm going to go for it! I never thought I'd want to dye my hair but this look is really growing on me and I've made up my mind! ok, ok so it's not as extreme as it sounds, I want to do it but I'll go for subtle first, wouldn't want to enter a shock mode, but wait for it cause you'll see change (maybe not BIG change but a small start is always something) this are my hair inspirations, which one is your favorite? what trends or colors are you into when it comes to

Estoy completamente obsesionada con ombre hair y lo voy a hacer! nunca pensé que alguna vez iba a querer pintarme el pelo pero este estilo me ha convencido y me decidi!, bueno no es tan extremo como suena, la verdad voy a comenzar por algo sutil primero, no quisiera entrar en shock, pero esperenlo porque si verán cambio (tal vez no un GRAN cambio pero por algo se comienza) esta es mi inspiración, cual es su favorito? que otros estilos o colores les gustan cuando se trata de cabello?

Stanford Pretty

 Oops! a long post again, I hope you don't mind :) I'm almost done with California pics so don't worry, this are from my Stanford University visit, I've got to say I found the campus lovely and I love the whole thing with everyone going in their bikes every way, wish my college transportation was like that too, and their libray/store is amazing with all things Stanford, unfortunately I couldn't buy anything except maybe a pen, plus it was a lovely day and a very good background for photos :)

Oops! de nuevo un post largo, espero que no les moleste :), ya casi se acaban las fotos de California así que no se preocupen, estas son de mi viaje a la Universidad de Stanford, la verdad el campus me parecio muy bonito y me encanto que todo el mundo andara en bicicleta por todos lados, me encantaría que mi transporte en la universidad fuese igual de fácil, y la librería/tienda con todas las cosas sobre Stanford es increíble  lastimosamente no puede comprar nada, excepto tal vez un lapiz con el logo de la universidad, ademas también hizo un muy bonito día y me encanto el fondo para tomar fotos.

Feeling Blue

 Late lunch on a sunday afternoon sounds like my kind of day, creme brulee for dessert and chilling out with my new zara jumper before the weekend begins.

Almuerzo en la tarde de un domingo suena como un muy buen plan, creme brulee de postre y relajarme con mi nuevo sueter de Zara antes de que la semana comenzara.

Water Fun

 If there is something that never gets old I think it definitely is theme parks, seriously it's like entering a fantasy world were everythng is tons of colors and lots of fun, this pics are from my visit to Great America Park, amazing water rides and awesome roller coasters and having a waterproof camera came in very handy when you're in the splash zone, I really had a blast that day.

Si hay algo para lo que nunca se es muy viejo estoy segura que es para los parques temáticos, estar en uno es como entrar a un mundo de fantasía lleno de color y muchísima diversión, aqui están las fotos de mi visita al Great America Park, con atracciones de agua increíbles y divertidas montañas rusas, ademas tener una cámara a prueba de agua fue bastante provechoso cuando estaba en la zona de salpicaduras.

Windy Night

This is from my second trip to San Francisco, a lot of pictures to show, you'll see in what is probably my longest post ever, though I still have some more California to show so don't be so sure quite yet, I have to say that during this holiday, San Francisco quickly became one of my favorite cities and I even thought I might really like living there, that is until I found out how windy it is! really it was like a fan blowing straight to my face all day and maybe it wouldn't be such a problem if real life were like those magazine photoshoots where wind if ever so flattering but reality is that wind makes for messy, well at least when it comes to me with my big curly untameable hair as it is, I had to wrap it up because it just wouldn't stay still, but all in all even with it's chilly, very chilly wind in the middle of summer I still find this blowing-through-my-hair-in-a-not-so-flattering-way city to be absolutely amazing and even if it is quite a shame that I'll have to wait till my hair is sleek and still (which is not going to happen) to not be annoyed by the wind me I still would not pass up the opportunity to visit again even if it means hanging with a ponytail all day.

Este es mi segundo viaje a San Francisco, tengo muchas fotos que mostrar, como ya verán  en lo que es tal vez el post mas largo que he hecho, aunque todavía queda mucho de California que mostrar así que puede ser que aparezca uno mas largo, tengo que admitir que San Francisco se convirtió rápidamente en una de mis ciudades favoritas, y hasta pensé que me gustaría bastante vivir allí  pero eso fue hasta que tuve que experimentar su fuerte brisa, es algo increíble! como tener un ventilador enfrente, y no habría problema si la brisa me hiciera ver como las modelos en las revistas cuando no hay nada mas halagador que un poco de viento, pero resuelta que la realidad es un poco desastrosa sobre todo con mi ya bastante crespo y bastante desordenado pelo jajaja, pero aun con su fría, muy fría brisa, esta ciudad me sigue encantado y aunque es una lastima tener que esperar al día en que mi pelo este liso y tranquilo (lo cual seguramente no sucederá  para que el viento no me moleste, créanme que no dejaría pasar la oportunidad de volver a visitar, así tenga que pasar todo el día con el pelo recogido.
